Caspian European Club conducts Online Round Table with participation of Emil Majidov

The Caspian European Club has organized the Online Round Table with the participation of the Adviser to the Minister of Economy Emil Majidov. Discussed in the course of the event were issues and proposals concerning transit, logistics, freight forwarding and transport.

This news was reported by Telman Aliyev, Chairman and Group CEO of the Caspian European Club and Caspian Energy.

Greeting the participants of the Online Round Table which lasted more than two hours, Emil Majidov informed about the current situation and plans for the development of the Azerbaijani transit, and also spoke about the government's steps taken to support private entrepreneurs engaged in this industry.

Adviser to the Minister of Economy Emil Majidov stressed that the Ministry of Economy is open to the private sector’s proposals aimed at developing the industry and overcoming the consequences of the pandemic. E. Majidov also noted the importance of joint projects and efforts of the private and public sectors, especially in the matter on development of such a competitive business as transit.

Emil Majidov answered the questions of top managers and representatives of the member companies of the Caspian European Club, and listened to their suggestions.

 On behalf of top managers of the member companies of the Caspian European Club, Chairman and CEO of the Caspian European Club Telman Aliyev expressed gratitude to Emil Majidov for the open and sincere dialogue. We have received answers to a lot of questions and outlined a range of events which will help to find a solution for most of the problems. That is why it was decided to create a joint working group for prompt discussion of issues and proposals coming from the transport sector representatives.

The Online Round Table was established by the Caspian European Club to discuss matters and proposals of entrepreneurs representing different sectors of economy in Azerbaijan.

 According to Telman Aliyev, the Caspian European Club, which brings together over 5,000 companies and organizations from 50 countries, was established in June 2002. As an active participant of the business-to-government dialogue, the major objective of the Caspian European Club is to improve the investment and business climate in Azerbaijan and in other countries where the Caspian European Club operates, as well as to stimulate and actively participate in the B2G, B2B and B2C dialogues.

The Caspian European Club is the international business-networking platform and regularly organizes various events such as CEO Brunch, CEO Lunch, Business Tour, etc. Within the framework of online business trainings, local and foreign specialists conduct webinars, trainings and seminars.  The head office of the Caspian European Club is in Baku (Azerbaijan).
