Groups of the RA armed forces have violated the ceasefire regime 45 times in various directions of the front during the day, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan reports.

The positions of the Azerbaijani Army in Agdam and Agbulag villages of Tovuz district and nameless heights in the territory of Gadabay district were under fire from the positions located in Mosesgekh and Chinari villages of Berd district and on the nameless heights in the territory of Shengavit district of Armenia.

The Azerbaijani Army positions were also placed under fire from the positions located close to occupied Chilabyurt village of Terter district, Novruzlu, Yusifjanli, Merzili villages of Agdam district, Kuropatkino village of Khojavend district, Karvend, Garakhanbeyli, Gorgan villages of Fizuli district, Nyuzgyar village of Jabrayil district, as well as from positions located on unnamed heights on the territory of Goranboy, Terter, Agdam, Khojavend and Fizuli districts.

The Ministry of Defense of the enemy, in turn, reported interchange of fire only on the northern part of the border of the two countries - hundreds of kilometers from Karabakh and near the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Shortly before, Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov discussed with the ambassadors of Armenia and Azerbaijan the intensification of efforts to resolve the situation in Karabakh under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk group.

Later, the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan to immediate deescalation and resolve disagreements through diplomatic means.
