As Report agency reports, Head of the Marketing and Economic Operations Department of the State Oil Company (SOCAR) Adnan Ahmadzade has been appointed a Deputy Vice President for Investments and Marketing Elshad Nasirov. 

It is worth reminding that A.Ahmadzade was born in Baku in 1978.

In 2006-2007 he was a Deputy Director of the Transport and Forwarding Division within SOCAR’s Marketing and Economic Operations Department. In 2007-2008 he was a Head of the Department for Commercial Risks Management in Trade Operations and the Logistics Department, in 2008-2010 was a Head of the Export Operations Department, since 2010 had been a Head of the Marketing and Economic Operations Department.

By the order of President Ilham Aliyev, he was awarded with “Tereggi” medal in 2015 for contribution to the development of oil industry in Azerbaijan.

The management over SOCAR’s Marketing and Economic Operations Department was entrusted to Adil M. Veliyev.

It is worth reminding that Adil Veliyev was born in Baku in 1980. He graduated with honors from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy with a master’s degree in “Oil and Gas Refining”. In 2017, he successfully completed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in the Russian Oil and Gas University named after I.M.Gubkin.

Since 2003 has been working for SOCAR’s Marketing and Economic Operations Department. From 2010 took over the position of the Deputy Director of the Export Operations Division of the Department.
