President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on additional measures to improve the supply of irrigation water to cultivated areas and meet the drinking water needs of the population in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR).

As Vesti.az reports, according to the order, 1 million AZN has been allocated to the Cabinet of Ministers of NAR in order to improve irrigation water supply for sown areas and household plots, and also to design and drill artesian wells to meet the needs of the population of Nakhchivan AR in drinking water.
