Construction of gas distribution networks started in residential areas of Nur-Sultan. Construction of the main gas pipeline is at stage of completion. “The gas pipeline is being construction by the commission of the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. At the session dedicated to further development of the capital, the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered to set control over the process of provision of gas supply in the country”, this news is reported at the official webpage of akimat (local administration) at Instagram.

Provision of gas supply to the industrial sector and residential areas will run through 3 stages: Koktal-1, Koktal-2, Agrogorodok, Promishlenniy and Zheleznodorojniy residential areas are planned to be supplied with gas in the next heating season. The second stage envisages gas supply to such residential areas as Michurino, Internasionalny, Kuygenjar (1-2 PK), Telman (3^rd PK), Prigorodny, Garden Village and Family Village (4^th PK). The third phase will ensure provision of gas supply to residential areas such as Ilyinka (1-2^nd PK), Shubar (3^rd PK), Ondiris (4^th PK). Execution period is 2020-2023.

Provision of gas supply to the capital will help to reduce hazardous emissions in the city by 6 times, solids – by 40,000 tons, akimat told Kazinform.
