President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has ordered to undertake measures to design and drill sub artesian wells in order to meet drinking water needs of the sown areas and the population of Goranboy district, Caspian Energy News reports.

Allocate 1.19 million (one million and hundred ninety thousand manats) AZN to the Melioration and Water Industry OJSC of Azerbaijan for designing and drilling 17 sub artesian wells to improve agricultural water supply of sown areas and farmlands, used as under crop areas, in 16 dwelling settlements of Goranboy districts with the population of 30,378 people. These measures are taken to improve water supply level in districts of Azerbaijan in 2020.
