Azerbaijan increases output in December

In December, the daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 810 thousand barrels, of which 755.1 thousand barrels fell to crude oil, and 54.9 thousand barrels to condensate. Everyday export comprised 649.4 thousand barrels of crude oil, 54.9 thousand barrels of condensate and 20.1 thousand barrels of oil products, Caspian Energy News ( reports with reference to the press statement of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that given the oil deal with OPEC the average daily oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 793.9 thousand barrels in January 2017, 776.4 thousand barrels in February, 733.3 thousand barrels in March, 781.1 thousand barrels in April, 785.3 thousand barrels in May, 793.7 thousand barrels in June, 796.7 thousand barrels in July, 734.8 thousand barrels in August, 785.7 thousand barrels in September, 800.6 thousand barrels in October, 790.7 thousand barrels in November.

It should be recalled that OPEC and a number of non-member countries agreed in November 2017 in Vienna to extend the agreement for another 9 months, until the end of 2018. On November 30, 2016, the OPEC countries agreed to cut the output by 1.2 million barrels to 32.5 million barrels a day.
