Construction of the site for first injection of gas into TANAP runs as planned

On September 21-22, SOCAR Midstream Operations specialists have visited the station #81 for lowering and metering the pressure and the compressor station #77 within the framework of the project on expansion of the South Caucasus gas pipeline in Georgia, Caspian Energy News (www.caspianenergy.net ) reports with reference to SOCAR.

Construction of the zone of #81 is complete by 99.8%. The site will be passed to the commissioning and start-up group from October 1.

BP and contractors answered all the questions of the specialists.

BP representatives said that there are no delays in construction of the site for zone of #81 designed for first gas injection into TANAP. The station #81 for pressure lowering and metering will be fully ready for launch by the end of the year.

The work at compressor station #77 is also ongoing at high rate. 77% of work has been completed by the end of September. The work on connection of the station to the main pipeline is scheduled for 2018.
