Caspian European Club’s visit to Ulduz chocolate factory

“The members of the Caspian European Club have made a business tour to Ulduz chocolate factory”, First Deputy Chairman and CEO of the Caspian European Club Telman Aliyev said.

Telman Aliyev noted that organization of business tours for the members of the Caspian European Club has already become a good tradition. This time the members of the Caspian European Club had an opportunity to visually familiarize themselves with the production cycle at Ulduz chocolate factory which has been operating for 19 years. “Many of us dreamt of getting into the chocolate factory as early as childhood, and even being adult and successful businessmen, most of them observed the full cycle of production of chocolate and chocolate products at Ulduz factory with great interest”, he said.

The business tour participants were informed about the activity and further plans of the factory. Held was an informal meeting between the Caspian European Club member companies from one side, and the President of Veysəloğlu Group of Companies Aydin Talibov, Director of Ulduz chocolate factory Aladdin Ismaylov and other management team representatives of the Veysəloğlu Group of Companies from the other side. President of Veysəloğlu Group of Companies Aydin Talibov answered the questions of the business tour participants and considered suggestions on improvement and recognition of products manufactured at Ulduz chocolate factory. The sides discussed possibilities of cooperation and reached primary agreements.

“We are pleased to note the fact that after visiting production facilities, all participants of our business tours change their opinion on products of local producers, buy them themselves, and agitate for the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand products among their friends and acquaintances. Perhaps, it is the major and positive result gained by the Caspian European Club in arranging business tours”, Telman Aliyev said.

Telman Aliyev noted that the Caspian European Club traditionally holds such business tours for businessmen in order to have them familiarized with the capabilities of large public and private enterprises of the country and the region, as well as with the possibilities regarding partnership. About 10 business tours have been arranged since the beginning of the year, including the tours to Jojug Marjanli village (Jebrayil district) liberated from the Armenian occupiers, to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, Baku International Sea trade Port, etc.

The Caspian European Club, which brings together more than 5,000 member companies and organizations from 70 countries around the world, was established in June 2002 with the support of the largest oil and gas companies working in the Caspian-Black Sea region and with the active involvement of the Caspian Energy International Media Group.

His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is the founder and the First Chairman of the Caspian European Club.
