GDP growth in RK to increase by 2018

“Real GDP growth is seen at 3.1% in 2018 with further growth up to 4.2% in 2022. An average annual GDP growth rate for the coming 5-year period will make 3.7%”, Minister of the National Economy Timur Suleymanov said, while presenting a draft project, Caspian Energy News ( ) reports with reference to the Ministry of Economy of RK.

“The forecast of the budget parameters and the National Fund for the period of 2018-2020 has been worked out on basis of the macroeconomic forecast. Revenues of the state budget (transfers exclusive) are forecasted at 5528.4 bln tenge in 2018, 6403.9bln tenge in 2019, 7175.8bln tenge in 2020. The budget deficit of 2018 is offered to lower down to 1.1% in relation to GDP and set at 1% to GDP in 2019-2020. It will help to keep the government debt at a rate no over 25% to GDP within a three year period. Considering the planned revenues and the planned deficiency, the forecast of the expenditures of the republican budget for 2018 has been set at

9 217.9 bln tenge, 9 798.2 bln tenge in 2019, 10 219.7 bln tenge in 2020”, Timur Suleymanov added.
